WORKSHOPS

Introducing.... The Green Kids In Your Classroom Workshop Series

Green Kids Inc. has been touring eco-minded theatre across Canada since 1991. We have performed for over 1,000 schools and 1,000,000 students.

Now we’re bringing environmental education into Manitoba classrooms for a more personal, interactive learning experience.

Inspired by the Manitoba Science Curriculum, Green Kids’ love of theatrics, and Mother Nature herself, these workshops will lead students on an exploration of current issues involving our world’s water.

From where it comes from (glaciers, storm clouds and oceans) to what it goes through (aquifers, forests and even our bodies), we’ll have a look at how we as people are affecting its cycles and the changes we need to make to ensure a clean glass of water is something we can all enjoy for generations to come.

Here’s how it works:

Green Kids will send two Workshop Instructors to your school. They will work separately with one classroom each at a time. Workshops for Grades 3 & 4 are one hour in length. Workshops for Grades 5 & 6 are two hours in length. We can spend a half- or a full-day at your school. You decide who we see and when.
