FUTURE

We at Green Kids are always looking toward the future: the future of our organization, of our children and of our planet. Our goal is to reach a worldwide audience and expand our operation in order to do so. Of course, sustainability is vitally important to all of our futures. Below are the priorities upon which our plan for complete sustainability is organized:

Touring
Currently, the honorariums paid by schools for Green Kids Performances and the accompanying educational materials cover less than half of the cost of the tour on a yearly basis. Over the next three years, we will be raising our prices to reflect one-half to two-thirds of the shows' cost. Green Kids performances still cost schools at least 15% less than other local professional shows for schools. We intend to expand nation wide across Canada and hope eventually to tour in the USA.

Merchandise
Green Kids will soon begin offering eco-friendly merchandise online. Young people (with the help and approval of their guardians) and adults alike will be able to purchase Green Kids T-shirts, hats and school bags. We will also make reused, recycled and tree free school supplies, travel cups and more available. Keep your eye on our website for this exciting upcoming feature.

Funding Donations and sponsorship fundraising is always a difficult task, especially for a small charity such as Green Kids. Volunteers We rely upon the time and energy of many volunteers who dedicate their time, resources and knowledge to make Green Kids what it is. We are looking for more people to help with all aspects of the organization. If you are interested please contact us at jeff@greenkids.com.

Video & Television Production In order to reach more students and teachers we have always dreamed about producing DVDs for sale and distribution. As well, we would love to have our own television show some day. These would allow us to spread our message further and reach a much larger audience than we do today. Acting as a new source of revenue this would help ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization.
